The Jack Kane Community Centre is one of Edinburgh’s best kept secrets, offering a wide range of facilities and services. This venue will tailor it’s facilities and services to meet your every need. We are located close to local transport facilities include bus routes and rail services. The centre is located within the beautiful and idyllic setting of Hunters Hall Park.
Our Lounge can comfortably fit 70 people in a range of layouts. The lounge benefits from being attached to our G8 room, offering an additional meeting or breakout areas.
Our G8 room is one of our smaller meeting rooms, which can comfortably sit 20 people.
The Den is another of our smaller meeting rooms, which can comfortably fit 20 people. The Den also benefits from having additional catering facilities attached.
Our Jean Edwards facility is arguably one of our most bright and sunny rooms, benefiting from windows allowing a view across to our Garden Globe. The Jean Edwards room benefits additionally from being able to split into two, allowing for additional meeting space as required. The Jean Edwards room can comfortably sit a maximum of 40 people in a range of layouts.
Our sports hall can comfortably fit 200 people and can be used for a wide variety of events, from sporting events to larger meetings. Please note that our sports hall is the only facility which does not benefit from the latest SMART Board™ technology, however, projectors and screens can be provided.
All of our meeting and function facilities benefit from having the latest interactive SMART Board™ technology and full Wi-Fi access. Laptops and iPads can be provide on request – this may incur an additional charge, please request when booking to avoid disappointment. Stationary can be provided on request.
Our 15 seater minibus can be hired – there maybe additional requirements to hire the minibus, therefore in all case please contact the centre to discuss.
